– Browsers: Browsers are visitors to the GayRyder who do not use any active data collection pages. Browsers may view content uploaded by registered members. Any information gathered from browsers is also gathered from registered members. – Passive Collection: We use cookies to collect information about you in order to provide essential functionality and to enhance your experience on GayRyder. We also record certain requests in log files together with IP addresses. This log data is used for troubleshooting, statistics, analytics, quality assurance and to monitor system security. No personally identifiable information about you other than IP address can be derived from log files. Log files are stored for 90 days after this period all records are erased.
– Active Collection: We collect information from you, such as your e-mail address when you complete registration forms to sign up for membership on our site. Locations for this collection are on registration, submission forms, bookmarks or personal profile pages.

We do not send out any announcements of any type. You will only recieve emails from GayRyder related to registration and site requests initiated by you such as password reminders and content submission. We will only send you newsletters on your express permission and if requested by you.
8. Public pages
Any information provided in a user profile, stories, link submissions, photo posts, comments or other related services should be considered to be public information. We do not, cannot, and will not act to maintain the privacy of any information you provide or choose to publish on our site.
9. Data security
We make every effort to protect the transmission and storage of all user information, and to ensure security of our site and systems. But we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-parties illegally obtaining this information. We take all reasonable measures to prevent security breaches. You assume the risk of such security breaches should they occur despite our reasonable security measures.
